@missF The Maurice Lacroix is splendid indeed. One thing puts me off about the one you show. You can probably guess… :problem:

@nathanclarinet Technically, I guess it is, but it doesn’t do much for me compared with the Vacheron above.

Ah yes but if we both liked the same thing, the world would implode followed by our solar system and galaxy. Then only the megaladon would exist sporting a ceramic cased iwc with an alligator strap. Hic.

No lume, no date, Roman numerals, I suspect there’s no bracelet available for it, and the crown looks a fiddly little thing as well.

Oh and that cheap PVD coating will look terrible once it gets its first scratch…….

I used to own an RLT one years ago I think it was a limited edition of 10 or so. If you are considering one on a budget there are a few Zeno watches (Try the website of their UK dealer shop time) Other than that I think the Longines is the better option of the 2 you have looked at (FM you can find in quite a few places pre owned but for me they always have that "Run and run fast" whenever I look at the price tag) Plus from what I recall one of the Bond villains wore a Longines Evidenza in Casino Royal
