TNT Challenger Black luna

Post by Lavaine »

An interesting watch from a new micro brand. Hand-wound Valjoux 7734 with added moonphase and triple calendar complications. Only 85 available, at a surprisingly good price considering the added complications.

Nice watch - I like the coin-edge case, although I'm less keen on the restrictive fixed lug design. The price is also pretty good.

I shouldn't like it what with the coin edge & odd lugs....but I do.

I rather like that. Usually I am not into coin edged watches but this looks subtle and the bezel is lovely. Bloody good price as well.

I'm not a fan of the coin edge here. I think it adds to the overall fussiness.

Way too busy for me, now if they split the features across a couple or three different watches then maybe.

Absolutely love this! If I designed a watch, I think that it would be a bit like this!

Has anyone ever done anything like this before? They want a 500 euro deposit which is a bit of a concern for me, as I do not know this company from Adam.

Also it comes on a NATO. Would Toshi or SteveO be able to make a strap for it do you think?

I like it apart from the font used for that big 12! That ruins the look for me just not in keeping with the rest of the design.

Love it. Not sure about the permanent strap.

Love it, want it, exactly my cup of tea. Busy dial, retro military, micro brand. Excellent.

I imagine you'd have to email them and ask if they do straps for fixed lugs. The article does state that aviator and leather NATO's will be available at an extra cost.

Email has been sent! :D

Just a bit concerned about giving a €500 deposit to someone I don't know. :(

Has anyone heard of this company, or done anything like this before?

You're not a big risk taker are you?

I like this a lot. And I might have been seriously tempted, but my heart has been stolen by something bronze.

Seems like a watch with this level of complication for $1,650 USD should be taken pretty seriously. But, the dial design doesn't do anything for me. The combination of logo color and dial colors is pretty jarring IMO.

Some of their other designs are pretty nice though, and it looks like they also do some customization.
