Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
Hey people.
Really liking the Black Nav B UHR,
http://www.steinhartwatches.de/de/Nav-B ... ck,12.html
Thinking of ordering one but wanted to know if anyone has one?
And what the normal turnaround time for Steinhart is?
Thanks.

Re: Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
I don't own this particular watch, but in general Steinhart offers good value. I own several and am very pleased.
My understanding is that Steinhart ships a couple of times a week, so if the item is in stock, I would guess delivery times of a week to ten days.

Like Rick, I also do not own this particular model. I have purchased 4 Steinharts directly from the company. In each case, they have taken around one week to arrive in the UK.

I own an Ocean Vintage GMT. great watch
Took about two weeks from order to arrive from Germany. Can be a little slow to answer emails.
Can also order from their distributer in the UK.

Worth looking at www.chronomaster.co.uk. Prices are v. Competitive and Neil is very easy to deal with. If he has the watch in stock then the turnaround is speedy

Thanks for the replies.
Ended up ordering direct from Steinhart. Was £332 all in.
Hopefully it won't be too long but it doesn't say wether it's in stock or not.

They usually say "can be pre ordered" when out of stock, so you should not have a long wait!

I just received my first Steinhart, an Ocean 1 black. I ordered it on Jan 25th, it arrived on Feb 3rd (I sent an email on the 1st for a status update, which was answered promptly).AdDaMan wrote:Thanks for the replies.

Re: Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
Dispatch e-mail for the watch I got from them arrived two days before the watch, took about 10 days in all I think.
Re: Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
still no dispatch.
Just found out from the other forum that someone else ordered the exact same watch on the 7th (i ordered on 5th) and theres has been dispatched and picked up by DPD etc..
WTF?!?! I have emailed them 4 times with no response. Im so **** off its unreal.
And to top it off the watch is now out of stock online so i have a distinct feeling im gona get stiched up!

Re: Thinking of Ordering a Steinhart..
I had my own unresponsiveness from Steinhart recently. As I've said before, I probably am just spoiled by CWL's fabulous customer service. But honestly, if it weren't for some glowing praise from other forum members (in this and other threads) on the quality of Steinhart's watches, I probably would have given up on them due to their slow responses. The positive feedback made me stick with it though, and I'm expecting a Nav B Chrono II DLC soon.AdDaMan wrote:still no dispatch.
