You have probably seen the ongoing thread on WUS. Steinhart CS has been suffering for months. I'm lucky in that I order from Gnomon in Singapore and CS from them is excellent.

Everyone agrees Steinhart watches are worth the wait, unfortunately wait is the operative word.

Buy from Neil at Chronomaster - he seems to be used to dealing with Steinhart. I'm glad I did as if I kept getting ignored like you, I'd have told 'em to stuff it... and been graphic in my precise instruction as to were!

However, hold out now as the watches are well worth it and just buy from Neil next time, and there will be a "next time" as they really are lovely.

I ordered the 47mm Pilots 2 weeks ago today. Ive not heard anything from Steinhart except the email to say theyve received my order. If i dont hear from them this week im cancelling the payment with Paypal. If they cant be bothered to contact their buyers with a delivery date or any information about the sale then thats a poor show on their part. I got my last Steinhart from Neil at Chronomasters, that came after about 10 days. Perhaps they look after their distributers better than us who try to buy directly from them.

Just an update. My Steinhart 47mm Nav B Uhr arrived this morning. I love it and well worth the wait. Altogether 18 days to arrive. The Triton I ordered from Chronomaster came after 10 days so ordering through the distributer does seem the fastest way. But if you dont mind a longer wait you can save a few quid ordering direct.

I have two Steinhart both purchased from Chronomaster and delivered next day. Neil's service is excellent.

Looks good. Entirely too big for me, I fear, but it looks awesome anyway!

My own Steinhart is so close, I can feel it. It's at the local FedEx sorting facility, and it'll be on my wrist by tomorrow at the latest!
