Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
The 9 link bracelet is IMO the pick of the bracelets. Not only for the look, but for comfort. One of my SMPs is on the 9 link bracelet and it's just so much nicer to wear. I'm probably going to bite the bullet and buy a 9 link bracelet for the electric blue one as well, just because it looks so damned good...

Serlo hasn't posted in this thread for a while. This should bring him back

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Tried one of these on yesterday in the new Patek boutique (during a pleasant morning on Bond street, spent trying on watches that were way beyond my pay grade - but one can always dream!)

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I'm dreaming about 2 today.
First: a vintage black-faced Datejust. Haven't tried one yet, so I must sort that out.
Second: an Omega Dynamic, date (1990s). Yep, rather like the one I recently sold. But finances are going in the right direction, so getting another might be on the cards.
Re the Dynamic, one I've recently seen has a tritium dial rather than a luminova one (my previous one had a lovely shiny luminova one). Has anyone got any opinions about tritium v luminova dials?

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Cheers, blowfish. The reason why I haven't posted here for quite some time is that I am not dreaming about watches anymore. As a matter of fact, the Lange Saxonia still is the watch of my dreams as is the JLC Reverso... Oh well, all right, I am still dreaming about watches, but not as much as I used to, as I am happy with the watches I have got.blowfish89 wrote:Serlo hasn't posted in this thread for a while. Answering my own question, I've been looking at pictures of those with tritium and those with superluminova (and those with a mixture, by the look of itatnits wrote:

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Don't worry, Andreas, it's a sign of sanity. Last week I was facing a choice between a watch and 2 weeks all-inclusive in the sun.Serlo wrote:The reason why I haven't posted here for quite some time is that I am not dreaming about watches anymore... And the worrying thing is that I was actually THINKING about it!

Lol, I used the money from my Alpinist sale to book a night at the Venetian in Vegas
Also a small trip to Grand Canyon the next day.

The Venetian is great! I stayed there a couple of times for Conexpo, enjoy it.blowfish89 wrote:Lol, I used the money from my Alpinist sale to book a night at the Venetian in Vegas![]()

I just got a couple of issues of Watchtime, I'm currently dreaming about the blue Breitling Colt automatic. Also thinking about the same watch but Quartz as a do anything, tough everyday watch.
