Haven't got a clue really, old chap. It's all a bit James the First and Sixth to me!

Very stylish. I tried on one similar to that a couple of months ago, that looked to be about 34mm and was from the early 60s. A bit less crowded on the dial than your VdKs and easier to set!Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Today it's a Vacheron Ultra-Thin (36mm)

I prefer your Piaget musings to the VdKs. Now there is an open goal for you to post your Altiplano....Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Don't worry...the van der Klaauws will be back!

That's the one. I saw a bloke at Salon QP last year who was wearing one of those - or at least wearing it for a few minutes....

He would probably have been tempted to do a runner had it not been for a VERY large gentleman in a dark suit who was pretending not to watch him...

There were indeed some big buggers there! I imagine any temptation was fleeting!Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:He would probably have been tempted to do a runner had it not been for a VERY large gentleman in a dark suit who was pretending not to watch him...

I didn't think it wise to enquire about their proclivities.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Oodles of free time today so spent the whole day today reading up and researching titanium divers.
Some impressive ones, none too irresistible, easily available and reasonably affordable.

But there is always this one, might give it a try - Shogun
