I could easily covet this
I saw it reduced from £11900 down to £7900. It looked great on my wrist.

Those are 18K yellow gold. I am really loving the version on the leather strap. The deployant has micro-adjust too.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 5:40 pm ^^^^ lower one for me, Rich.

Guy I didn’t think you would pick the 39mm version over the 42mm version…

I think I will buy a 39mm version at some point, once another GMT from my favourite brand turns up. At that point I will probably sell one or more of my existing GMTs to switch things around a bit.

The second one is the 39 but the original post is 42s. I would get the 42s for myself. To be fair they are really hard to tell apart.nbg wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 6:00 pmWell I never!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 5:40 pm ^^^^ lower one for me, Rich.

Somewhat similar to my bronze Baltic Aquascaphe.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I really really like what Longines are doing at the moment. Very nice.
Like many here I care little for celebrity endorsements, but going on their website just now I notice that Henry Cavill is a new brand ambassador for them. Coincidence that Longines is part of the Swatch group, as is Omega, and Mr. Cavill is in the running to be the next Bond?

EDIT: There is a little laziness going on over there at Longines I think. The 39 and 42 for the gold are the same picture. You can tell by the date window. The stainless one above is 42 though. The date window is even with the 5-7. That is the real tell. The 39 sits lower. Can you tell I am bored at work today

Here is a 42 gold.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
@rkovars Rich I have seen the same mistake on more than one AD site.
I knew the ones in your pic were different sizes, as you say the date window is the obvious tell.
Hence my post to Guy…
Gently ribbing him that he had selected the 39 in preference to the 42.
My nephew has the green bezel 39. I thought it was a good quality piece when I tried it on.
I like the idea of a GMT with Arabic numerals, as a contrast to invariably wearing GMTs with blobs.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
@nbg I think I may sneak out at lunch tomorrow and see if my local AD has any of the gold ones to try on. They definitely look like their own thing which is what makes them appealing to me I think. They are also piloty but not too piloty if that makes sense. I started out the day looking at black bezel GMTs and wound up here. Go figure
