^^^Well I did take a detour on my way home, to Ernest Jones.
They had the 42mm version, I was very close to getting it, but they said they'd have the 38mm in a few weeks, so i thought I'd wait and try.
The 42mm one didn't wear as big as my C8 and it felt very comfortable, I've got a feeling the 38 may be a bit small for me, but we'll see.
I also asked about the Pelagos 39 waitlist.
60 people on it, and they've had 5 in since launch.
Regards Steve
I was looking at the 38mm Murph on the Hamilton website yesterday and will try to get out to see it within the next couple of weeks. Please keep posting your thoughts if you see the 38mm.
With the 2023 Forum LE on the horizon this one will probably stay in the day dream column for some time. The moon phase talk in another thread got me thinking about this one again though. So many good looking models from Longines are overlooked.

^^^^Perhaps another Oris? The Aquis Upcycle comes in a rainbow of different colors, and a 36mm size.

That's a particularly nice one, I think.
I’m not one who typically goes for the abstract….But if the colors on that dial were inverted,it would appear as clouds in a dark blue sky. And I don’t know where or when I would wear it, but I think it would make me smile.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

There's a few on Ebay at close to retail price
Regards Steve
Not a fan of risking smth like this on Ebay (even though, I know, there are a bunch of buyers safety and money guarantees). Plus, I know it's odd, but I like that moment when you get the call and get the excitement of the pickup.
Well, for now. Not sure I'll give the same response in 6 months if I havent had that call yet. I may turn to other avenues then.
