Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
You know what I’ve been dreaming about a lot lately? This green bezeled C65 Trident Auto over on Ward Hoard. That green bezel with the white lume calls to me! Put it on a camel strap, and I’d be in heaven!

Wow. Just pure unadulterated class and beauty. I’m not sure a watch has ever gotten me as verklempt as this.

Sadly it’s on the other side of the planet, and for too many reasons to count, I just feel a watch of this caliber needs to be bought in person.
It is after all the dreaming thread.

^^^ Agreed. I tracked down the Chrono24 listing, and found that besides the location, there are another 13,000+ reasons I won’t be owning this any time soon! But you’re right, this is a dreamer thread. A guy can dream.

^^^^^ A guy can indeed dream.
THE most beautiful rectangular watch I have ever seen, no risk. GO makes fantastic watches. But yes you do want to try this on in person.
I did have one of their current Seventies pieces on my wrist but at 40 x 40 too much for my skinny wrist.

^^^^But now I know it exists, the hunt can begin for one a bit closer to home. Advertised as a 2010 model, it may take some digging. Retirement is still a few years away.

An achievable dream. If you want an outstanding daily wear diver then why not Doxa?

I tried one of these on today and was totally blown away by it
(the blue dial is just beautiful and online pictures just don't do it justice) If it was on a bracelet I would have probably bought it there and then.

Definitely go back and try this on a bracelet, if you were blown away by it on a strap, the bracelet might just finish you off. Personally I prefer the all brushed bracelet from the black than the polished one from the Petit Prince but it’s exceptionally well built and extremely comfortable.StrapMeister wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 10:43 pm I tried one of these on today and was totally blown away by it![]()

There are rumours that the MKXVIII range is about to be killed off, whether this is the end of the Marks, or whether a new MKXIX is due are a source of speculation on the IWC groups out there and no formal announcement has been made by IWC. If this is going you could also pick up a bargain.

I've been thinking a lot about Speedmaster's lately and the idea of a birth year watch has also been playing on my mind so finding one of these seems perfect. Now just to get my head around the myriad of production numbers, serials, models etc.

Speaking of Speedmasters…
I saw this yesterday and it kind of surprised me. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but I was still on my mind this morning.
