Long ago during my engineering studies I enrolled in an industrial design lecture. What we learned there is a designer should not pass the MAYA-threshold. MAYA meaning Most Advanced but Yet Acceptable.
I wonder if this watch is still cis-MAYA or already trans-MAYA

As a general rule I’m not that big a fan of homage watches, but this Steinhardt is so nicely done.
Explorer dial with a nice bezel at a reasonable price. What’s not to like?

I also dont think much to the way steinhart knock off Rolex but have to admit this one is appealing and for once not a straight copy. Very smart

Bremont have a new outlet in Bangkok, as I discovered to my delight last Friday. First time I have seen them in the flesh since 2016. Of those I saw, I loved the ionbird, which came as a surprise, as it left me a little cold from afar, upon it's release, but in the flesh, wow!

But I still hanker after the ALT1-C Blue, which sadly I didn't see at either the main store (Time Zone at Gaysorn Mall), or the two Bremont pop-up stores they have opened in nearby Malls. Such a beautiful watch (all pics from Bremont website).
