Its an odd one that Guy, I'm drawn to the Hesketh branding but there's something about it that says fashion end of Rotary and a bit OTT with all the elements thrown in. Its a bit of fun though. An automatic more subtly executed would probably be a yes from me, this one I'm unsure.
I'm a bit of a geek re the historic racing stuff but not an avid collector, I have an original Hesketh Racing Bear club application signed by James Hunt, also an original painting of Hesketh F1 car signed by the driver, both acquired from the now owner of Hesketh engineering.

I really fancy a central chrono (though would prob go on strap not bracelet). I like the hint of green version too. The only problem is I'd have to fund it with two Halios and a guitar!

Despite this being a wonderful watch in so many respects. I don't think I have ever seen a date window look so out of kilter with the rest of a watch. Pity it's there really.

^^^ Agreed. It would certainly be far better without the date. Or alternatively a simpler date window at 4:30 like most modern FF models.

This is available from a US retailer on Chrono24. It'd be waaaaaaay more than I have ever spent on a watch, but I want it sooooooo badly (right now at least, who knows how I'll feel tomorrow or next week).

Or if I don't want that one, there's always the black and rose gold version!
