Yes, it's a lovely looking watch. Just worried about whether it wears a little too tall (what did you think?) and I'm not yet fully convinced about the centre seconds hand. I also haven't yet found one in the flesh to try on - but I'll keep looking!MiniMpi wrote:I tried this on last year Steve.welshlad wrote:

If I had the money at the time it would have come home with me.
Thanks - useful to know.MiniMpi wrote:I didn't find it too tall.
Beautiful watch without a doubt.
Could have got it for €1800 Euro in Fuerteventura.
That one - by a country mile!welshlad wrote:Thanks Guy, that looks very nice. Actually, I did have another one that is tempting me, but I'm not sure it's out yet:

Tried one on recently. Supremely well made, the bezel is an aquired taste (the platinum has an odd sheen!), wears extremely small for a 40mm (wifey tried on the smaller one (not sure of the case size of the smaller one) and it really was weeny! - she is still quite tempted to get one)
Not tried that but by a weird coincidence I was just hovering over the buy now on tha Alpha Watch homage of this.
Yes. Loved the fit, the dial and the bezel - but not the price!
Ah good point Steve! Would you like a picture of a different Rolex or a Van der Klaauw?Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Are we playing Spot the Difference? Which of the four pictures of a Rolex is the odd one out?
