does anyone have pictures of their polar explorer ii on a leather strap? there's nothing much on google images, and i think it would make me dream of this watch all over again - for purposes of exploring far reaches of course

Richard,
You are quite right, I do like the Ex2 on leather or on a NATO. I don't come on here too often at the moment and since the photobucket scenario post even less.

Heres a picture of my EX2 on leather. Ironically, today I have been weighing up options to sell it. I'm finding I don't need/warrant having 2 sports Rolex. As my Sub is going nowhere I think this may well go next week.

No problem, the EX2 looks great on leather. Here's a more arty shot

for me it's not so much a grail watch - i'm not sure at all what i think of grails..... but it is a forever watch - the one that any other in my collection (and that may be zero) would be measured against..... seeing it on leather confirms everything for me, becuase i did wonder if i'd have to wear it on a bracelet forever! it's good to have dreams

I have had mine now for over 4 years. Every time I think about adding another white dial steel sports watch, I look at this one and think - no don’t bother! :)

Fake Rolex or well built hommage what's the general consensus?
