That’s a nice one, but Tag have taken a step backward from the previous model by (re)introducing an integrated lugs and bracelet arrangement.StrappedUp wrote:

Loving these two white dials --- this or that would make a good poll

^^^ I like the white - although personally prefer the one with more contrast (IW323906) in the dial. There's one for sale on another forum at a very tempting price.

@downer - That seems to be right up your street Richard. Classy and svelte.
Wouldn't it overlap with your JLC though? Although the Ingenieur is a bit more sporty.

Guy, I think it would overlap even more with my blue Ingenieur, as well as the Explorer II Polar - perhaps my most worn white watch.

Granted, the new one has a lugless design, but the previous model also had the fixed center link.

I think that's lovely. I've always found the rarer blue dialled GS very attractive and the guilloche is superb, the chunkier hands and GMT balance out the watch perfectly. Out of curiosity, what size is it?downer wrote:Can't get this out of my watch-related thoughts:
Incidentally, GS and Orient both disappered over here a couple of months back. One day they were there and the next they had gone, with other Seiko's occupying their stands. Last week, GS had returned, all with the new branding and new stands. It seems Seiko have had a complete re-think about their presentaion, which has become much less cluttered with clearly defined areas for each range i.e. Prospex, 5, Solar and so on. Still waiting for Orient to re-appear though.

^^^ It's 40mm (perfect) x 14.4mm (10% taller than I would like). Nice review here - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/grand ... k-hands-on
