Please do Paul. I can then buy it off you in a year or three's time
Even a 40mm one?
Oh yes, 39-42mm is my preferred sze range. I'll go outside that for a number of reasons, but 40mm is a nice size for me...

Saw a couple of Zenith pilots at -40% in MUC last week, but I think they were larger cases and possibly chronographs. I'll take a closer look next week.

Thought you might.

Zenith pilots, nice as they are, are out of reach for me currently.

However, this is within reach.

Ha! Told you, you would go for the yellow!

Good man, although a matching strap might actually require eclipse glasses/welding goggles. :)

Yet to see it in the metal but very much thinking along the lines that the yellow gives it a look similar to my C11 Makaira Elite that I very much liked.

Yellow stitching on the strap sets it off well. Mind you it's Genuine Alligator at €280 extra

That is fine then. I had visions of an a fluorescent yellow strap in the same hue as the markers. Would have put your Makaira strap to shame!

Agree totally about the yellow stitching. Works superbly.

Would P&C come to an agreement over the strap?

These are lovely, and a welcome and relatively rare size for the pilot style (which always seem to be too large), I'd probably go for the brown but the green also nice.

Strap and possibly a bracelet would be bought separately.

It's a shame the ETA 988.333 isn't thermocompensated.
Then it would be a real alternative to a Breitling.

Pilot's watch with similar movement to a Breitling Aerospace, but more of a tooly look.

Guy
I'm perfectly happy with it being a 'similar movement' to a Breitling; not a shame for me.
