Going to have a look at one of these beasties.



My only concern is that at 44mm it should be spot on for me, but speedies apparently wear smaller, so we shall see.

.. . . and being predominantly black/grey will likely make it wear smaller still.

Not sure whether I prefer this or the Titanium version you posted a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe you'll get the chance to compare them.

One thing, looking at the photo on PC screen, as opposed to phone, I can see a screw for the lugs close up to the case.

Are the lugs still fixed or articulated, similar to some Hanhart models?

Pretty much. Panerai have a bar that is a released by a pusher under the lugs, but the lugs remain attached and the bar slides out.

Zenith, the lug is unscrewed.

Compared to the VC easyfit, it is a rather agricultural arrangement, and a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist!
