Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
And there is the compromise life like the watch world is just not fair.

^ you mean that owning watches is teaching me about life??? how cool!
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Dave I reckon you need to critically consider how many ceramic Submariners/Sea-Dwellers you really need. I know a chap who would take either off your hands.Winnie Bloo wrote:Ooooo overpriced ..........

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
So after trying a Damasko a watch I'd previously dreamed about I'm now moving onto alternatives. One similar and one not
Sinn 556 a bit smaller than the Damasko
Nomos club a watch I've owned before fits well and I regret selling
Time to think now

Mostly money at the time I felt it would be better spent doing the house up. But since then I've been left a little money and sold some watches so I wouldn't feel the same now

Great. If it's money, it's a fair enough reason to reacquire one. It had been a "I felt it was too big/small/tall/round/white/fancy/plain/lacking in detail x" reason, I'd counsel against getting another.neil8fletcher3 wrote:Mostly money at the time I felt it would be better spent doing the house up. Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
From memory the only compromise was the length of the lugs but I can live with that. Other than that the size was spot on even the lug to lug was fine. The Mrs even liked it as well and the same can't be said for the damaskodowner wrote:Great. If it's money, it's a fair enough reason to reacquire one. Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I already own the white-dialled version. Today I want the dark one.
Thing is, sometimes I think about selling the white one.
Plus I already have a similar-ish dark dialled watch.
And There is certainly no "need" for it in my collection.
Still want it, though.
Tell me it's madness.
