That is disappointing. I wonder if the watch wears bigger on the bracelet - as is often the case due to the angle of the end-links? Worth trying on a strap?neil8fletcher3 wrote:Dream shattered ordered a Damasko DA38 on a bracelet from Jura. Arrived this morning and it's too big for my skinny wrists

It appears to. The measurements are almost exactly the same as my sarb017 but it wears alot bigger. The sarb017 is a perfect fit for me. Thanks I had looked at sinns before think I might revisit them later
It's frustrating that my first thought with a watch is will it fit me rather than does it appeal in general

Thanks that could be worth a try later. Not sure what I'd do with the bracelet if that did work outdowner wrote:That is disappointing. I may be able to help out - although I wonder if I read somewhere that each bracelet is custom-fitted to each watch?

I think that was the case with the early bracelets but not the later ones. I'll have to try it on a strap laterdowner wrote:neil8fletcher3 wrote:Thanks that could be worth a try later. I'm pretty sure that was the case, the current ones should be interchangeable.neil8fletcher3 wrote: I think that was the case with the early bracelets but not the later ones. I'll have to try it on a strap later

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Had a look at it again still on the bracelet (which dangles off my wrist) and decided it's not for me. Technically it's the same size as my sarb017 but the dial layout makes it appear out of proportion so even on a strap it wouldn't work. Thanks for the suggestions but it's going back and I'm going to look at a sinn

Would you take some pictures side by side with your Seiko?

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Couldn't have said it better myself. The Sinn 103 kills me, as it's one of the coolest watches on Earth, but alas, way too big. All my watches are dive watches, which tend to wear small for their size; at 38mm, the Trident is perfect. I've been reluctant to try a non-dive watch of similar proportions for this reason. I tried a 39mm Ball at the Wind Up NYC event, and it looked like a hockey puck on me. It saddens me to hear that Damasko 40mm cases wear large, as it's another brand that appeals to me otherwise.neil8fletcher3 wrote: It's frustrating that my first thought with a watch is will it fit me rather than does it appeal in general
Currently the watches around the top of my wish list are the 33mm Nomos Ludwig and the 34mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual — again, for this reason.

^^ maybe we should set up a kickstarter project to produce the ultimate tool watch for skinny wrists!

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment
