Yeah, I'm waiting for my beloved to get home and currently planning my strategy for convincing her that I really, really, really, need this watch!MiniMpi wrote:Good man ^^^

This weeks object of desire. Now available in a size that fits. Supplied on bracelet, but you also get 'free' rubber and alligator straps that you can switch to without a springbar tool.
Seems fairly pointless finding out the UK price, cause it will be far too much!

^^^ I still prefer the Overseas, even if it's a couple of mm larger than it should be...

Maybe one day...

^^^^ Yep if last years model was a couple of mm smaller, it would be spot on. The new one at 37mm would be better with the small second at 6.
Thing is I have become dangerously obsessed by the trinitys integrated bracelet steel sports offerings.

I like the way that the bracelet mimics the logo.
Beautiful watch.

The two sets of minute tracks, one on the dial and one on the rehaut kill that for me.
Sub seconds markers on a non chrono are another pet hate of mine.

^^^ It's a fair criticism - although not one that bothers me personally.

Yesterday, I popped into a rather well known Department Stores "fine watch room" whilst waiting for our dinner reservations just up the road. I was looking for a particular IWC, when I came across a watch I have never really looked at before. The Portofino max handwound.
Utterly gorgeous, beautifully made and stunning in both steel and gold.
Hmmmmmmm........
