Now I would have agreed with you Gary until I tried on a RO again about a month ago. The dial and bracelet finish are better than anything I have tried on before and a slim case as well.

That is undoubtedly true Neil, but I just like the looks of the Rolex better...

What did you think of the Polo Om?

It looks too much like the Nautilus
Lovely watch. Not sure if I would get tired of the poppy blue dial (Nautilus blue is more subdued), and may prefer the white or gray.
The moonwatch and FOIS are very similar on the wrist. If you shave the crown (and pusher) guard off the moonwatch case so it matches the left side, that's what it's like - most of the watch is still the same. AFAIK they use the same bezel, dial and crystal, but the lug changes mean it has a 19mm lug width in place of the moonwatch's 20. One thing I dislike about Omega (shock, horror!) is that they use 1mm increments in lug width rather than 2mm, so it's not uncommon to find 19 and 21mm lug sizes.
Thanks Gary I think from my research the Moonwatch lug to lug is 49mm and the FOIS is 44.5mm so just from the measurements it might sit better on the wrist for me. The 19mm lug does put me off a little. Good excuse to go and try them both on I've got a long way to go on the savings front first maybe when I'm 40.
This then turned into reality but for one reason or another I didn't bond with it so it got sold and funds saved
This year I've gone back to think of these
But also added this into the mix but with the 60 minute bezel rather than hours. Personally I'd prefer it with a blue second hand and stitching but don't think that model exists

If you order from Damasko directly they are offering limited customisation. You can ask for a blue second hand from the DA38 (adds €25), and whilst they may not swap the strap, you could always order one with blue stitching separately. You can order a different colour "Bi-light" (lume pip to you and me) for the rotating bezel models.....they also offer custom engraving for the case back.
