I tried on the FOIS as well as the Moonwatch. It is also lovely, and the 3mm size difference wasn't that noticeable either way.

If that's the original than that's the one I want. Manual wind, no sapphire crystal.

The moonwatch and FOIS are very similar on the wrist. If you shave the crown (and pusher) guard off the moonwatch case so it matches the left side, that's what it's like - most of the watch is still the same. AFAIK they use the same bezel, dial and crystal, but the lug changes mean it has a 19mm lug width in place of the moonwatch's 20. One thing I dislike about Omega (shock, horror!) is that they use 1mm increments in lug width rather than 2mm, so it's not uncommon to find 19 and 21mm lug sizes.

I was looking at the FOIS as it's just a little bit different to the Moonwatch but tried a Hesalite on and it fits really well and doesn't look large and normally I prefer smaller watches (38mm C60 600 for example).

I wish I could find a reasonably local AD with all 3 in as I'm 1 of those that has to compare and not just buy on the specifications or just seeing 1 of 3.
Maybe I'll call Omega London West End or Royal Exchange shops.

If they'll do it at pre-increase price or a bit less then it might be worth buying it to get full Omega warranty.

Already done it. Generous trade in for an old piece of Quartz cr@p with no battery, plus I got a free winder. :D

And yes, I could have got it cheaper going grey. But as you say, I got the proper warranty and the champagne.
