Is it me, though, or does the date pointer window look a little underachieved in the context of the watch as a whole?

Well this is a dreaming thread, rather than a maybe sometime thread.

An AP RO of a perfect size. The best executed dial on any 3 hand watch I have ever seen and looks to me to be a far better bracelet than another Grail level steel sports watch.

The only one that could go, should I look to change my trio of Rolex would be the sub date:

The other 2 are set:
DJ = dress
OP = dapper

The sport one is still technically up for debate and is currently the SubDate.
The Airking is currently top of wish list. I also like the idea of a new SubC, another GMTii, an Explorer 1 again (2016 version) and now and again the Milgauss appeals. I think the Airking has enough about it for long lasting appeal.

My SubDate would easily cover the purchase of a new Airking which is also a bonus. Nothing likely to happen but looking keeps me interested.

Have you seen one in the flesh? I know the concept is amazing and the pics look great and admittedly I have only seen black dialled versions, but I was completely underwhelmed by their appearance, I actually felt let down! But if you have seen them, then fair enough.
