Mine too Ferg ; although I have always liked the look of the U1. The Pelagos would also be likely to come back from service quicker when the time comes (unless by then the other 2 brands have sorted out what, as far as I can make out from other forums, is rather a long wait at service time).

it would be a hard choice for me between the U1 and the pelagos. all things equal, pelagos wins. but financially it's not equal. and the tegimented version of the U1 is tough as nails. i got my used tegimented U1 on bracelet for $1500. hardly a scratch on it for a 4 yr old watch.

^^^ I love the Sinn, and have often thought of buying one. However, the Pelagos is almost petfect as a complete package.
Have you tried one on?

My issue with the Pelagos was the length of the clasp. Like many modern bracelets, the clasp contains a very useful extension function, but it comes at the expense of making the clasp very long. When worn on a slim wrist, I did not find it particularly comfortable.

Check out the Frederique Constant in "CWL Of The Day'' thread.

I have, liked it immediately but it wasn't sized so I'm not sure how the clasp would fit me.

Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:@james80 - sorry to contradict Ferg but, with the experience of seeing and handling both the Pelagos and U1, it would be the Sinn for me. More of an individual watch.

However, I'd buy a Damasko over the Sinn. Their new diver, which I'm not sure about, is not out yet but the DA43 (40mm case; 41.90mm bezel) has been tweaked with a touch of orange. Looks very smart;-

also available on their fantastic bracelet, here in the DA42 black dial version

I do like the look of the Damaskos but I'm concerned about their CS.
