Lol the kidney is safe and don't think it would have covered the cost. Shows style can't be bought.

The price of a kidney on the US black market is apparently $262,000.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Yes, one kidney left but a helluva watch collection! I shouldn't joke though as nothing more valuable than your health.

How much. Don't think I could bring myself to spend that amount on a watch collection. Don't think I know enough top end watch's I like, or would consider wearing everyday, when the price goes to far north I'd be too scared of damageing it and I don't see the point in spending a fortune to keep it in a safe.A Watch should be worn.

Nah. You can live fine on one kidney. It grows to compensate for the loss of the second one.

I know; I do (lost it in an argument with a surgeon's scalp, 7 years ago, as a consequence of the big C).

A Roger Smith but as this would require a lottery win and a 6 year wait....

I'd settle for a Tudor Ranger! :D
C9 Marine Chronometer Small Seconds, C8 Mk2 Aviator, C600 Trident Pro; Lum-Tec Combat B19, Elliot Brown Canford, Smiths Everest, Casio Protrek.

Nothing too fancy but I'm looking at one of these to replace my for sale Eterna.

36mm, grab and go quartz for any occasion. A little expensive but I like it.

Guy, yes of course you are right about the kidney's regenerative powers. One of my friends received a transplant from his sister that probably saved his life. Glad you got through that ordeal and we all can benefit from your contribution to the forum :)

Read the story of them Dave and very interesting - nicknamed Slytech after a watch made for Sylvester Stallone; they seem to come as a pair, one made for the left hand and one for the right hand with the crowns on the different sides. Are you planning to wear two watches at the same time

They look very smart, other than those plastic bezels in the photo which look a little cheap
