Vintage datejusts. This sort of thing:
I'm getting scarily close to getting one now, if I can clear the mental hurdles involved...

Normally, I try to be fairly non-judgemental, but that's brutal - like wearing a pair of tatty running shoes with a nice Saville Row bespoke suit.

absolutely! That's a crime to put the 1931 on any other strap but leather or alligator, preferably black!

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I'm currently lusting after the new Blancpain fifty fathom Bathyscaphe calibre 1315 with a 5-day power reserve. In blue, it's simply stunning and only, ahem, circa £9k! Ah well, in the week I'll wander down to their AD here in Bangkok that happens to be the same company that represents Bremont, so at least I have form there, to check it out or more likely to be asked to be notified when it's in! For AVO - when you're retired this is the sort of thing you can do to keep you busy!
The watch has a grey ceramic case and bezel with blue ceramic insert and liquid metal hour markers.
