The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
^^ Me too, Ferg. I tried it on again yesterday evening, and even made some enquiries about the price. The AD in Munich Airport wasn't prepared to do much of a deal (new model etc), and the EUR:GBP is not too clever right now, so it didn't stack up.
I compared it to a blue Milgauss (I know they're not really similar) but I strongly preferred the Omega for its subtlety and timelessness.

Good to hear it's still good on second viewing Richard.
The exchange rate is good for me at the moment though

Well I'm not sure if I've ever dreamt of a watch on this thread yet but I'm currently deciding between this:
A watch:

And this:
Not a watch:

One would be clearly easier to keep from the missus for a while

JS Watch is a very interesting watchmaker. I really like the 101 model.neil8fletcher3 wrote:Love the colour this

They are very nice watches that I would be happy to own - however currently not at the expense of one of my collection. Both the blue and the white dials are lovely and have that something extra about them.

Unusually (for me) I much prefer the Globemaster on the strap. The bracelet end links are very square... I'm also surprised that I like the bezel.

Agreed. Mostly. Globemaster looks better on strap. Nice watch, not as nice as a vintage Connie though.downer wrote:Get the bike.Dancematt wrote:Well I'm not sure if I've ever dreamt of a watch on this thread yet but I'm currently deciding between this:

Want the Yachtmaster, love the quirkiness of the Proplof, probably end up with the Brietling - it's a blue and white thing for me at the moment......

You're right, but that Laco costs twice as much as the Steinhart...Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:How about a Laco? Front-runner at the moment, value for money being the biggest priority, is a Steinhart Nav B-Uhr Type B in 44mm size:
I realize it breaks my "no automatics" rule, but maybe I'll give them one last chance (Steinhart do handwound watches, but not of this particular model).
