A spot of V-C Ultra-Thin today. I need to lift up mine eyes unto the hills and think of beautiful things today.

I shall be dreaming about this tonight:

As all things being well I should have one on my wrist tomorrow!

My contribution to the theme of classy, slim and beautiful (watches).Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:A spot of V-C Ultra-Thin today. I need to lift up mine eyes unto the hills and think of beautiful things today.

Have now tried one on 3 times, so getting to a dangerous stage.

Still thinking about this. I tried the black version yesterday...downer wrote:IW329005

Really nicely made, a bit heavy (especially in comparison with the TN I was wearing) and quite tall. If they'd have had a blue one...

Aha, the voice of reason and common-sense. Of course, you are right - and I really don't need any more 'similar' watches.atnits wrote:

Ok,I know this isn't the best Patek and the calibre is not top level but I've seen in the shop and is really gorgeous ! This steel version is (imho) better than the pt version and you can have also a good discount.....but I've a 2 months son so I'll dream.

These two could be my two long term targets.

Over the years I have lost track of the number of times I have tried on different model references of a Submariner, both ancient and modern. Never really been sure which I like best.
Tried on one again yesterday in an AD and other than the current Hulk, this is probably the one that I like best, as a halfway house between the old and the new, a 2-line 14060M.

There is no halfway Neil. The 16800/5513 are the last of the vintage. The 14060/16610 are the first of the modern.
