That Anthracite Sinn 556 is lovely, especially given it's tastefully sized at 38.5m. I imagine the dial is a stunner that 'shifts' under different lighting, a bit like the sterling silver or rhodium dials offered by Stowa. Agree it's not too expensive either, considering it's limited to just 1,000 pieces. Sinn are a company that intrigue me, so individual in their approach.

this watch should sit in a nice sweet spot for you size-wise, too.
i thought the brown was interesting, too. but i'm not sure if i'm a brown watch guy. even though i do like that glycine i posted on your black case watch thread of yours.
^^^^^^^ Well I have just realised that the cost of that new Sinn is to within £10 the cost of the repair bill that I have to pay tomorrow on my wife's car. There goes the short term prospect of the Sinn disappearing into the distance!

Yeah - good size, but like you, I'm not sure I'm a brown watch guy. I might abandon the Sinn and the black-case watch and with the money I've saved (haha) I may spring for the Alt1-ZT/51. It's got a brown thing going on and half the case is DLC.

Isn't that the one that Mr Esslinger designed, Om? As far as I know the bezel was inspired by nature. Well, I don't get most of Mr Esslinger's designs for Stowa. I'm afraid that this is not an exception. In addition, most of his "innovations" are quite expensive, e.g. the Dynadots of the Rana...
