That is really rather special and since the 'grail and fail' thread where AVO suggested a grail of a Daytona for me, I've realised that he is potentially correct.

Nevertheless, I'm unlikely ever to buy a Rolex so perhaps I ought to be dreaming of this instead;-

Shame CW doesn't still have the C700 or equivalent in its range for (imo) the same look.

The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

Not a new watch from Baselworld but a JLC that's been around for a few years. I don't usually spend much time when watch browsing looking at dress watches, but I am rather taken by this one.

Have now tried it on twice, so maybe one day, providing I sell a few first.

I actually fell in love with the Cyclops 'thing' when I saw steve (welshlad)'s explorer ii at the weekend - it kind of draws your gaze and captures you with the clarity and size of the date - i'm a fan!
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Glad to be of service! And I agree, it's an interesting feature and also an iconic Rolex design element.

At least with a cyclops you know that the dial has a date. My wife took at least 4 months before she noticed the date on her Tudor!
