Don't understand why painted markers is a fail ?? Many higher end watches have painted markers (rather than applied). Or maybe you are saying you don't like the faux patina?

But what do you honestly get for that? You used to get more upmarket movements from IWC in the 90s. No silicon hairsprings or anything special? meh.

Oh sure. I'm not claiming that it's an amazing value or anything. Just saying that I like it. And I think that for a brand that seemed obsessed with making their pilots as big as possible with more and more added bling and other nonsense on the dial, this is a welcome turn about in the other direction for a price that's not eye-popping.

Very true. Bad value compared to Stowa/Archimede etc. But at regular grey market discounts, should be available around $2500-2800 which makes it better.

It's ok and only 45mm. Could be improved by adding 3 little dials at 3, 6 and 9, with some pusher things on the side of the case.......

This might be my next watch Blue Tuna. It is 47mm (Darth was 49.4mm).

Tried these on today:

Nomos Orion. So want this watch. Think it to be the classiest watch of modern times. Tried on the Weis version as it was on sale but want the standard. So beautiful.


Breitling colt quartz 36: Want to like this, could be a perfect one watch but the dial looks cheap in reality.


So my next watch could be the Orion. Lots to sell first.
