A chap I know called Mike B just got a Hublot, not the same guy?stefs wrote: A friend of mine recently got the non chrono version of this. A lovely 38mm and really gorgeous in the flesh. Its not only massive watches with hublot nowdays!
I must say, seeing his new watch has made me appreciate the brand a lot more.
Also made me thing spending a fortune on a watch is a reasonable thing to do.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I have found a version of the Submariner I like.
1680 'white' Submariner, head-only okay, open 6's and 9's in date, magical 'top hat' crystal
The second picture is a 'Red' (expensive) but shows the crystal nicely.

Ok this is definitely not topping any wish list of mine right now but I didn't realise Panerai did a slim 42mm watch with 60 hour power reserve, I think its pretty cool. PAM00512:

Its pretty cool and also on my list since Gary got it. The automatic version of this watch has a micro-rotor based in-house movement and I think is limited edition.watchstudent wrote:Ok this is definitely not topping any wish list of mine right now but I didn't realise Panerai did a slim 42mm watch with 60 hour power reserve, I think its pretty cool. Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I am coming around to wanting a white dial watch again and I am thinking about the white dial red bezel Trident, probably GMT (which I waited out in the last NN sale). The Seamaster Great White is also a great option but more expensive. Not sure if it has a true GMT movement.
