I'd not get that Omega without being an airline/military pilot, a veteran spy or a doctorate in Physics. For once I don't feel qualified to wear a watch....

Interesting coming from someone with a stellar collection of pilot watches

I would absolutely wear that - does the second hand tick like quartz - or is there an automatic base under the quartz display/movement - don't know anything about this watch.

I have actually worn the watch I am dreaming about today:

I am still dreaming! I also had a look at the new Metro stadtschwarz which probably is more realistic than the Lambda. But as I resolved not to buy any watches in the near future, the Lambda might also be a realistic goal...

Isn't that puppy sweet? I admit finding myself drawn now more to the white face sport watches. I absolutely love the look and feel of my Explorer. I am now looking for a sweet panda - white dial w/black subdials. Saw a nice longines panda yesterday, but it was a silver-white dial.
