This could well be the inspiration for the Longines, as Wittnauer and Longines were two peas in a pod back in the sixties/seventies...

^They sell periodically under $1500, but without the bracelet. At $3k, I would rather have a new Longines, similar style.

Wedding anniversery present from my wife, winging it's way from Canada shortly.

It's different and will be a talking point no doubt. I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll sit on the wrist.

I have no German member in my little motley crew!

This situation is unacceptable and must be remedied. Accordingly I am investigating two models in particular and shall advise.........

These watches both look superb and I have never noticed either model. I will be really interested to see how this situation progresses. In the mean time I am going to go and find out a little more about both.
