Great looking Milgauss , I also like the earlier 6541 ( 1958+).They have fantastic honeycombed dials ,Very expensive though , look at the link below.

This one has been dreamt of over the years many times , the Omega triple date cal 381 moonphase watch (1940s) . Three different versions below. After seeing it again recently i can't stop thinking about it .

I agree , this sample typicaly sells at around £400 and there are many more brands on the pre-owned market. I may be looking to purchase one of the less expensive brands Greg , the Omega version is expensive .

Had a good look at this in gatwick airport and it is beautiful in the flesh. The midnight blue dial is superb

Another vintage watch , a Citizen 500m diver from 1971 inside the watch is the cal 5420 chronometer movement .I would love to own one of these , but they are rare.

Not that it's an option right now anyway but think I have decided this one wouldn't be for me when the blue Omega PO titanium is probably the ultimate. Won't stop me trying one on though when I see one.

^^^ I think it's one of those colours that looks great in the right conditions - bright sunshinre, blue skies, sea etc... Probably no good in South Cheshire then.
