Nice pick up

I tend to steer towards vintage Tissots, of which I have, ahem, one or two  but wouldn't mind having a closer look at one of those at some point :)

Congratulations a good looking watch and great value, I would be interested in how the new ETA C01.211 movement compares with a Valjoux 7750 in the long term.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

Thanks for all the comments...much appreciated! No niggles yet aside from the very stiff strap, that and it's a bit on the short side :(
Lego wrote:Not a massive fan of chronos but that is very nice. I think the subdials are quite unobtrusive which helps.
The hour markers though....red or blue?
Thanks...I'm a big fan of chronos and pilot watches, it's about all I have :D The hour markers are actually chrome and a pent roof shape so they reflect the light in any number of ways...making it about the dressiest watch I have!
Richard B wrote:Looks like a cream / parchment colour dial ?
Yes, the main dial anyway. The outer ring with the hour markers is white. A very subtle and pleasing contrast!
teestech wrote:I particularly like the nice 'balance' to the look of this dial, with the way they've enclosed the brand name and date window in another circle to match the minutes sub dial. Very nice indeed, congratulations.
I agree on the balance, and I just noticed the sub dials have a very fine chrome outline...another nice detail!

Presume you've done the old rolling the strap into a circular shape between thumb and forefinger thing to soften it up??
