My good man, I am delighted that we agree about what is considered mainstream.

However, I am a little concerned that we may be under represented in the "handlebar" department.

Now in preparation for the class of 2015 group photo, may I suggest that we could consider a forum 'tache wax.

I have started growing mine in readiness, and am currently using these brands.

I would like to see a Twizzle based formula, but with the expedition strength of Captain Fawcetts.

To the Steves, I assume that you will step up to the committee directorship?
Oh, handlebars and pocket watches are having a revivial! That is my best try (2 years ago):

I used "Brother's Love", the original Bavarian "Bartwichse". What a strange name for moustache wax that is, let alone why they chose an English name for their product. I always wondered whether it should be brothers' love and who these brothers are. I had to shave it off because "one who must not be named here" refused to kiss me. Eating and drinking was a real challenge. However, my students loved it.

Oh, and this thread has shown me again how much fun this forum is. So gentlemen, let it grow and wax it, grab your pocket watches and waistcoats.

Good grief man,

A 'tache like that and a teacher too! That is like catnip to these people.

I cannot believe that you kept all this hidden from us under your wristlet!

Now roll that trouser leg up, break out the 'Brothers Love' and pull up a pew.

Always room at the class of 2015 table!

You guys are having way to much fun. Now someone step up and organize that GTG and have some more.

It can be a themed GTG. :)

This thread has given me a good laugh. I am picturing something that looks similar to Monty Pythons Ministry of Silly Walks with mustaches and pocket watches.

Any chance we could have this GTG at the end of March, beginning of April so I can be there? "I know I said we were going to London on vacation honey but I have a GTG to attend! And YES, the mustache is required so, please get the 'stache wax I asked for."

Lol, the theme woukd be perfect for a GTG, imagine someone walking in and asking "Anyone got the time? " upon which ten men slowly draw pocket watches from their waistcoats

Let's explore this eccentric idea.
Somewhere near the middle of the UK? Not (just) because I live here but cus it's easy to reach for most?
Every blessing,
