Tapferkeit watches (based in England, apparently) seems to have most watches at half price.

https://tapferkeit.com/products/freiheit-automatic-blue

Bauhaus style automatics for just over £100, and quartz for about half that.

They look inexpensive, but some reviews pointing out potential service issues.

Not only a potential bargain due to discounts but also some news about their future from Mansarea, a bespoke strap/leather goods manufacturer in Spain that a number of us on the forum have bought from in the past:

Dear customers,

Mansarea would like to announce to all its newsletter subscribers that from now on we will stop manufacturing watch straps for a period of time yet to be determined and we will once again concentrate on the production of traditional items manufactured in Ubrique by generations.

Several internal health and personal issues have led us to make this decision after more than 10 years dedicated to watch straps.

We will contact customers with pending orders and no one will be left without his strap / his money.

From now on, only watch straps will be sold from the thousands and thousands of which we have in stock for immediate shipment.
In our stores on the ebay and etsy platforms, only straps that are in stock and ready for immediate shipment will be advertised.

We remind you that personalized straps will not be manufactured either.

For any further info please just email us !

We hope and thank you for your understanding.

We want to inaugurate this new stage by offering a one-week discount

( 27.04. - 05.05.2024 )

in the categories on which we are going to focus from now on.

ONLY WATCH STRAPS IN Sales - Category - buy 3 and pay 2

ALL WALLETS wallets - 40%

ONLY CALF belts - 10%

ALL SUSPENDERS - 10%

ALL GLASSES CASES - 10%

^^^^ Thanks for this Patrick. I've had the same email from Mansarea, having been a customer for a good number of years.

I have a number of their straps that I rate highly for the price and might well get a few more.

Another strap one. The Strap Tailor is clearing out some cancelled order straps they've had lying around so there's a sale on in-stock items.
I'm a bit late so a lot of the first page seems to be gone and they're still not cheap, but worth a look if you're looking for a nice strap. I've had a couple from there and they're lovely.

Some good strap deals to be had at Watchgecko at the moment, plus code WATCHUSEEK for 10% off.

Good spot. I've always liked the burgundy which they have on the bracelet for slightly more. The funny thing is that for the Heritage 57 model, he exVAT price is shown as the same as the sake price. On all the other watches it is the sake price less the VAT.

Ebay looks to have a 10% code on watches on the listing page, capped at £500 which is the best I've seen in a while. Time to check out the watched list....
