They used to do BOGO or 20-25% off sales pretty often, but they cut back over the last year. This is a good one, I couldn’t pass it up.

Carl @ GasGasBones 'retired' from strap making earlier this year but recently found a batch of his SPV1 straps and posted about them on Instagram.

I bought two on Thursday evening and they arrived today.

I had to look that up, as I wasn't familiar with the name. Allandale Road, apparently, (a bijou Leicester shopping area).

Enjoyable browse through the stock.

If anyone fancies one of the new 39mm Longines Legend Divers, for some reason the 15% discount code (BF15) seems to apply to them at Goldsmiths ...

Blue on NATO is £2850 (becomes £2442.50) and black or blue on bracelet or leather is £3050 (becomes £2592.50).

There's 3% topcashback on purchases with a voucher code, so another £70ish back.

You'd be buying brand new, on bracelet, for probably close to the secondhand market in a year's time.

Well this will have to be a little bit cloak and dagger, but a local jeweller we use has a nicely reduced ring in their Christmas sale. I have reserved it, and I will take my current and first wife to have a look at it, in the next day or so. Maybe Christmas is solved. :D

UNCLE SEIKO are holding a "12 days of Christmas" sale with 40% off selected products.

https://unclestraps.com/en-gb/pages/12- ... %3D.Ris4ii

I quite like Uncle Seiko bracelets and 40% off increases their appeal.

The straight end bracelets clearly fit anything of the same lug width but curved end links may require a bit of adaptation to fit a watch other than the one for which they're designed.

Well I can now show the ring, as my wife approved the capital expenditure. It was this one, picture from the Clogau Outlet Store, but purchased from a local jewellers. Clogau had a decent sale but things are leaving gradually. They also have 3 versions of a mechanical watches, I think?, but hardly any details. The watches have gone, now.
