Me too! And if you took photos of the watch, why wouldn't you include a backdrop of the wooden box and warranty cards?

Also the white box looks to be about the half the width of the white OEM outer box and the cushion it's sitting on has a 'flock' appearance but the original Omega cushion is plain vinyl. So, non-original box, no paperwork, poor out of focus photos. Run!!!!

Price: £ 2,250

Hi, I got a message from this seller on Gumtree, offering this Omega in part exchange for my Omega.
I'm not sure how to spot if it's genuine, but if it is, then it's one hell of a bargain.
The negative reviews he has received, are all for "Too much Haggling" so not sure if that's for him as a buyer or seller.

Regards Steve
Seems very cheap, Steve. Odd that he’s stated that he’s flogging it and needs it gone by the weekend to fund a ticket for the boxing and yet he’s come to you offering it as a part-ex on your’s?
I actually had his Ad for the watch saved before he made contact.
So it's been in there for a couple of weeks probably.
The other items he has up for sale, made me worry though.

Weirdly, I was offered tickets to the Fury/White fight this morning, but I'm off to the Belfry so my mates Son took them.
So maybe I could have swapped £400 worth of tickets for a £4000 watch.

Stranger things have happened, I bet the person who bought my CW 5 Day Auto for £360ish was thinking that was to good to be true !

Regards Steve

Not all colours/sizes are included, so you'll have to trawl through and check ...

They also have some of their leather and cordura hybrids included. With some of the cordura straps, there is a further 25% off coupon bringing them in at £15 delivered, half the normal price.

Amazon have further reductions on some of these now. Just ordered a couple of Silicone Elites at £11.99 each. Very decent price considering the strap comes with both a short and long length included.

Buy one get one free on Barton watch bands for the next 2 days. Code BOGO22

Edit to note this is through Barton’s website. Not sure if they’re running any sale through their Amazon store.

I just had an email. Tribus now have a strap sale. Straps at £50 including VAT, previously £120. They are decent straps. good value for £50. I would say at least on a par with standard CW straps, although I think CW Cordovan are rather better at the full price. All will be 20mm.

Not only the straps, Tribus now have the last few Liverpool watches at £250 for the automatics and £150 for the quartz chronograph. Very good really, especially if you fancy a bracelet, which were £200-£300 on their own depending on finish. On the bracelet models this represent about 20% of original price.

Just bought an auto for my koppite mate. I’m an Evertonian but a considerate one after the trauma he went through in Paris. I agree about the straps which I believe are superior to CW’s. I missed out on the gunmetal bracelet at £100 for my TRI-04 which would have been a steal. £50 for their leather straps is an absolute bargain.

I would get a couple of straps, but I have too many unused straps already, including Tribus and CW straps among others.
You are a good mate, aren't you. The toffees were scaring you a bit, I expect, until Leicester helped you out. :D Onwards and upwards.

Martu is running a 25% off sale across the site until 1 June. Great straps but take ages to arrive.

It was never in doubt…🙈 It’s quite normal, up this neck of the woods, to have families and close friends split between the two clubs so ‘banter’ is a way of life, but it’s generally only very light-hearted. Anyway, I have asked young James Ward if he can get the old man to sign the box with a message to my mate…I’m sure Chris will oblige.🤞

Used Monta Triumph in the UK.

Given the current discussion over Monta I thought this might interest somebody. Kibble Watches ( yes really ) have a 2020 Monta Triumph at £1095.

KW seems like the kind of seller that buys mostly limited editions and wait list watches and prays they go up in price.

His prices listed for those seiko prospex are more than a grand above other resellers. Let alone the frankly insulting price of that eta black bay.

Not a site worthy of the 'bargains' thread....

Kibble is a dealer in used watches, and I understand he has a decent reputation. He also sells on behalf of his customers, and takes a sale fee. He has some interesting items from time to time (right now he has the bronze Pinion worn by John Cena in FF9).

As far as I know he’s not a scalper; there are dealers who do that, but Kibble isn’t one of them.
My name is 0uatiOW, but before you ask, no I don’t.
