Another e-mail fired off this morning with just that kind of language. If they don't get back to me by the end of the week, well, I guess I'll take another hard look at the C8 Vintage.

It's very odd. It is clear that Gunter works a lot of hours as several of us have received responses at weekends or late into the CET evening. It is equally clear that him and his team always appear to be trying hard to look after their customers.

I wonder if they have some kind of over-zealous spam filter problem, where some emails just get nuked before they are seen?

Peteo, if you have an alternative email address, it could be worth a shot?

Just a thought.

Your thought was also mine (and Nathan's too). That keller@... address was cc'ed on this latest mail. I have also considered that this might be a spam filter problem, and if that's the case, then all will be forgiven as far as I'm concerned. I'm willing to give them benefit of the doubt there, mostly due to the fact that most people on this forum seem to have good experiences with the company.

I do really hope this works out as I would love to still get that watch on my wrist.

Just an idea.

Why not try neil@chronomaster.co.uk who might be able to source one for you?

Neil is the very chap I bought mine from. He didn't have mine in stock but was expecting some within the week and kept me informed all the way. Terrific service from Neil.

Steinhart Response Time

I agree, have just ordered by second from Neil at Chronomaster and he is very honest with delivery times and generally gets them quicker than he first suggests! Top service and all round decent chap!
Mine is at home waiting for me as we speak!!

A woman by the name of Ekatharina Keller got back to me early today. She apologized and said that the staff has found it really difficult to keep up with e-mail volume lately. Good enough for me. I'll be confirming payment this weekend. Amazing how quickly I'm back to being excited about this watch.

Great news Peteo! I was a tad disappointed today to see the 'in stock' date go back to the 6th Feb but it just serves to heighten the anticipation!

Peteo

She is the one who sorted the problem I had with the non delivery of a bracelet. Hopefully all will go well now.

Someone is now expecting a brand new Steinhart Nav B-Chrono II black DLC. I won't say who, but he might be related to me by selfness.

Peteo - thought you might like an update on the delivery etc for the Nav B Chronos we have incoming.

I emailed Steinhart yesterday to get an update and used another address that I found on the WUS website (must thank the guy who posted it!). Transcript below:

we are currently waiting for the supply with the Nav B Chrono DLC which is stuck at the customs in Köln. As soon it is here we will start the delivery. The additional strap 160 is ok, I have marked this in your order.

This was from Katharina and then 10 minutes later i got this from Anna:

We will get a delivery with this watches and I think we will send you it next week.

Yes, this is possible to have this strap, I have noticed it already. This strap have the number 160.

Looks like it won't be long now - can't wait!

Thanks for the update. I'm hoping to get it very very soon. I'm excited about this watch, a little nervous that it will end up being too big. Mostly though, I'm just real excited to get my first pilot style, my first auto chrono, my first DLC, my first vintage style, and my first Steinhart all into my collection in one go. This watch will be scratching a few different itches. Also hoping that this watch will manage to scratch my B&R Vintage itch without costing me $4,000.

I'm also hoping to get it soon because the sooner it gets here the less I will feel like a complete addict when my 2013 FLE Red follows.
