Just a quick heads up for anyone who receives one of these with a mis-aligned bezel - please see the post from the designer on WUS offering free return and repair and a free stainless steel bracelet to boot if you are one of those affected: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f275/new-m ... ost4893474

Well, Fedex delivered my watch today. But I wasnt home and they left a card. Entering the tracking number on the web site showed that it was delivered and signed for, but no note as to where it was left. Fedex being very slow to answer the phone. Most frustrating.

It's getting fairly dark out, so the photos aren't that good.

Will try to take better photos soon. First impressions are good. Nice 120 click bevel action, dial looks quite nice with it's concentric circles of depth. I'm not too sold on the date window though as the surround is very chromed and shiney and doesn't really match the brushed silkiness of the rest of the watch.

I said when I first saw picture of it that it was a lovely watch and you've just reinforced my opinion. Now take it away and don't show it to me again  The temptation is too great to bear.

It's a nice watch, and up to the Steinhart quality you'd expect.

Looking forward to the lume shot - to make the most of that ceramic bezel.

A better closeup here. Bear in mind I don't have a great camera.

And lume (with arty-farty second hand swoop).

That bezel lume is very well executed.

Pete, a lot of people have been critical of the strap - having got your hands on it what's your opinion?

Very nice IMO, quite a dressy diver that can be worn both for smart and casual occasions. My only concern is whether the watch wears 'big' on the wrist...certainly appears quite large?

Looks great Pete. Thanks for posting pics. I am now questioning my decision on the blue as really like the white and from the photos the lume appears to have a blue tint? Is the strap waterproof..i noticed its described as leather and rubber on the Steinhart website.

Enjoy it....
