I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I thought this looked fantastic as the prototypes were shown. Now, I'm not so sure.

Maybe it's not a great picture, but the dial looks a bit 'flat' and uninspiring, and the bezel numbers look a little lightweight.

I need to see more pics before deciding.

The product photos on the Steinhart website do look a lot more appealing that this wrist shot. Seems to be a nice amount of layering on the dial. That's what hooked me into wanting one.

Love the look of the watch and am very tempted. Being new to the brand, are Steinharts purely thought of as a homage brand or do they get any recognition for their own designs? The first version of this watch was far too Rolex - not a bad thing but changes the situation from a good value individual proposition to a rather expensive replica in my mind.

Steinhart is much like CW, but as a German brand. The day design cues from other watches and put their own spin on things. They make a very well put together watch.
