Overall, I like it. I think it is very 'Steinhart'. The similarity with the Bremont is quite vague, and although there is something Stowa-like about the bezel, I still think it's quite a unique design.

One to watch.

I like the bezel and the dial, but not together. The watch has interesting elements, but it doesn't come together as a whole for me. I've quickly come to tune out Steinhart releases because I just expect them to be too big for me to consider. This one looks to be the same deal.

I think i like it a little better, than the normal ocean. Im not a fan of the Rolex ripoff designs, or for that matter; Rolex at all. I know; for a watch lunatic ... it's like cursing in a church. But it's just a matter of taste.

According to a post by Steinhart on Facebook on Saturday, "Ocean Two is right around the corner, you can count the days now ..." - vague, but interesting nonetheless.

Yes, I asked them if it wasn't about time they started selling this watch given the number of sneak previews.

They also posted a picture of the O2 on a rubber strap with deployant, apparently on a break from skiing in the Alps ...

Well, I've ordered the black right away. Based on the quality of my Marine and the photos, I'm hooked...! The dial looks wonderful.

Anyone know what movement is in the Ocean2? Maybe quartz?

It's the ETA 2824-2. A pretty rock solid auto movement.

Probably the same finish as my Marine, which is a brushed satin finish. It's not as polished as the C60 case is.

prefer the blue one. I'd prob want a bracelet as well... If I was going to get one.

The pictured leather strap doesn't do the watch justice. It seem plain and has no feature that aids or compliments the look of the watch itself.
