Truly awful, looks like a 12 year old designed it.

Well you cant knock Steinhart for pushing the envelope or being brave with this one !!

Its defo not for me as i struggle much beyond 40-42mm anyhow and regardless of size issues its a very extrovert kind of watch which is much to full on for my tastes

One thing that always puzzles me is how a design team manage to engage in pushing through these kind of ventures without someone sounding a huge alarm claxton at about the third meeting when everyone is thinking clearly :)

Obviously it costs bundles of money to invoke new cases, dials and features as well as tons of drawings and planning so the whole project has to absorb resource after resource
There will i'm sure be a limited market for race and nostalgia fans with this Steinhart but i think the C Ward Race homage watches are all a better size (still too much for me) and despite also being colourful and busy they do exude the race theme and nostalgia in a more controlled thematic manner

Just my opinion though and after all i'm a guy who still takes joy in plain ish sub 35mm vintage watches

I am a massive petrol head but there is no way I would wear that thing.
