yeah that blue stuff on the crown was odd. more like wax than paint. but easy to remove.

I thought they were just protection stickers they put on crowns but the material was weird; waxy like you said. I had to scrape it off mine with my fingernail.

There's one of these on eBay now how are people liking them after a few weeks of ownership?

It has a Seagull movement and the fit and finish is OKish. The clasp has a lethal sharp edge. I will not wear it travelling as it may be confiscated at airport security.
Overall, not bad for £65 delivered from HK.
You might want to secure that bracelet pin between the second and third link or you'll end up with it on the floor in bits – although that wouldn't be too much of a tragedy

As an owner of the white face Rodina, I couldn't resist ordering the new blue faced version...

*Edit - It will be my first watch with a blue dial!

My white face, brown strap Rodina arrived yesterday, and have to say, very impressed with it so far. Closest I'll get to owning a Nomos for a while! Now I'm very tempted to get the blue face version as well!

I prefer the blue version myself. Anyone got any pictures of it?
Would look great with a nice tan leather strap...
