slow-watches

Post by Bahnstormer_vRS »

This is nothing to do with my timepieces not keeping the correct pace but I stumbled across https://www.slow-watches.com/ just now and thought I'd share with you all.

I like the design, 38mm case will no doubt suit a majority of forum members and Swiss Made available internet only will ring a bell with us all.

Prices at £200 - £230 inc VAT and shipping seems quite attractive.

Anyone tempted?

It is an intriguing concept but I do not like the style of the watch. The customer service is hinting at CWL levels. The movement is quartz http://www.ronda.ch/en/quartz-movements ... er/50524h/.
It is mineral glass rather than sapphire.

I like the idea but I think the case shape is a bit off. The Botta Uno 24 is another watch like this but includes a date window at midnight, which I like more.

I'll stick with the Luch, I think. :)

There's a similarity in the case design to the CWL C11 which I like, but 38mm is smaller than my preference.

I tried their making love "method" on the memsahib last night......... didn't end well. Apparently there are some things posted on the internet that are not correct!

A do like the 24hr one hander in that case though. Just not sure about the size.

My word, that is an ugly watch. And rather large, too.

And an ugly crown saver. When I see Military on a watch I don't associate it with being slow and relaxed.

I like the shape of the SloJo or whatever it is, but not the dial so much. Good luck to them though ;)
