Seiko Sport Automatic.. opinions please?

Post by shrink »

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2009-SEIKO-100M-S ... 240%3A1318

wondering what people think of that... seems not a lot of cash for a day/date automatic with decent waterproofness (is that even a word)

I quite like that it looks a bit like a submariner, but not so much that its trying to be a replica

Shrink, Try Timefactors.com or RTL Watches, they usually have a good selection of Seiko's at cheap prices. Stock is sometimes an issue but a quick email to check can work wonders....Good Luck.

Also look at South Devon Watches onn Ebay.co.uk.

They do pretty good prices on Seiko & Citizen divers.

yeah, sorry to anyone who has one, but i think the seiko monster is absolutely hideous. Far too lumpy and cluttered for my own liking.

sadly, i wouldnt want one for sale if it was £30 lol

I actually found a few gorgeous vintage Seiko Chronographs on ebay today, so going to keep an eye on them, as i would like an auto chrono, and i quite like the vintage looks. Watch this space :)

How about a Seiko skx007 or skx009 you should be able to find them on the bay for the same price or again try RLT. Much nicer watches imho. If you are not a diver just want a good watch try a vintage Seiko 6309 7040, very nice watches again on the bay, try and spend a wee bit extra and get a good one.

Good luck with this,

I got a couple of the bay in the last 6 month, simple, but great watches.
