kinda gave up for a bit... due to my car losing 2 litres of oil in the last week. So until thats fixed and paid for, other plans are on hold.

Ive actually decided that a Hamilton X-Wind would be a good idea... seems to be one of the cheapest 7750 based watches on the market at the moment, and its a bit of a looker. Along with the Engineer Moonphase watch, its the Hamilton products that have caught my eye.

Good luck with the car, sound expensive. I will have to look at the Hamiltons, as I have not seen much of thier present day stuff, I know they use to make military watches in years gone by.

The 6309 is a great watch IMHO, also I managed to pick up a SKX007K today for 40 quid, Bargain!

I also sold my C4.... :(

I think the Hamilton is a great looking watch ,it might be an idea to check out some of their swatch group stablemates.
I know both Mido and Tissot have some great models in the same middle range ....
