Has anyone suggested Junkers?

http://www.junkers.ch/e/index2.htm

They have hand-winds in your price range, albeit with Russian movements.

I have a russian based watch and am looking for something like a unitas or eta handwound to extend the collection. It was a good suggestion though thanks. :D
The stowa antea kleine sekunde and the davosa classic if I can find a retailler aren't bad options.

What is their reputation? Most of what I've read about Russian watches is they are cheap and fun to own, but the movt.'s suck and are unreliable. False?

My watch is a poljot deluxe automatic but the rotor is missing so it works like a manual probably 30 years old it goes on and on built like a tank, I wear it when there is risk of watch destruction. Can't speak of more modern ones though.

Daz - http://www.precisiontime.co.uk/ You might like to have a look at the Victorinox Seaplane handwound at £389 ...or the Ernest Jones website - watches - mechanical, the Hamiltons look nice, the field officer's takes my eye, and Ernest Jones has a store in Croydon, google the website, ok? UB

Model #? I went to http://www.princetonwatches.com, an authorized Hamilton dealer, and they have no such watch. Usually, they're good about listing movt.s, but they don't list the model for the mechanicals.

Now look what you've done, Daz! I've just ordered the Hamilton tonight and been promised delivery for Friday. I wasn't going to get another for a while until you tempted me. I've told my wife it was all your fault and you took advantage of my weakness. I'll let you know how it goes... UB :hangman:
