I see that Rolex has come top of an annual list of consumer superbrands for the first time. Beat Coca Cola to 2nd place!

I know Rolex produce some truly excellent watches, but their very popularity, brand image and inflated prices are the things that make me not want one (even if I could afford one), along with the fact that Tom, **** and Harry all think they're the world's best watches. If I could afford to play in Rolex country I'd go for JLC or similar.

My wife's Volvo just got traded in for £3000, bought new 9 years ago for £30,000 plus

My Rolex just got sold for £1400, bought new 15 years ago for about £2500...not a bad return.
